Volunteers

Have you thought about becoming a Leader or helping in some other way?

Do you …

  • Enjoy the outdoors?
  • Have the desire to learn new skills?
  • Like to make new friends?

If you said yes to the above then you have found the right place!

Why is Scouting a great volunteer experience?

Many people are looking for ways to develop skills that help them achieve personal and professional goals. Scouting has a long tradition of providing such opportunities. Becoming a fully trained leader takes approximately 50 hours of on-line and experiential learning in understanding youth, program planning, leadership and risk management

For those not wanting to become a leader, how about joining the Group Committee.  There are opportunities to:

  • Develop marketing, communication, financial  management and fundraising skills.
  • Enjoy excellent volunteer development courses

Goup Committees are formed of volunteers from all walks in life, and together with section leaders, they provide the support and oversight for our youth programs. Positions include:

  • Group Administrator
  • Fundraiser
  • Quartermaster
  • Registrar
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Group Youth Commissioner

The 415th is run by volunteers, and therefore always grateful for additional support and help.

 thanks
